Butter Cookies

Ingredients

1 cup butter ( 8 oz softened ) 

1 cup white sugar 

1 egg

2 tsp vanilla

2 1/2 cup all purpose flour 

1/4 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt

sprinkles for decorating 

Method:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
2. Cream butter and sugar till well combined and a pale yellow colour.
3. Add egg and vanilla and mix.
4. Combine flour, baking powder & salt. Add to wet ingredients and mix well. 
5. Line baking sheet with wax or parchment paper. 
6. Drop dough by the tablespoons onto baking sheet or use cookie press.
7. Add sprinkles or any other decoration and bake for 10-12 mins till just golden brown at the edges.
