Country Casserole
Ingredients:
12 oz package noodles
1 lb ground beef
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup frozen spinach
1 can tomato soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup milk
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp red chilli flakes
1 tbsp dried parsley
1 cup mozzarella cheese.
Method:
- . Preheat over to 350 degrees Fahrenheit . Grease 9x13 dish.
- Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in pan and cook minced beef till brown & add frozen spinach. Drain excess oil and set aside.
- In a large bowl mix together tomato soup, mushroom soup and milk. Add in Worcestershire sauce and garlic.
- Add minced beef and noodles to sauce mixture.
- Spread into pan and top with chili flakes, parsley and cheese.NB. At this stage you can cover and refrigerate or freeze casserole.
- Place into oven and bake approx 25-30 minutes until cooked through and cheese is melted
- Optional: place under broiler 2 minutes till cheese is golden.
- Serve warm. Garnish with parsley.
