Mushroom Pasta
Ingredients:
1 pack penne pasta
1 container mushrooms (approx 2 cups chopped )
1-2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
2 tsp minced garlic
1 chicken bouillon cube
250 ml cooking cream (heavy or light)
Salt and pepper to taste
Parsley(optional)
Method:
- Bring water in a pot to boil.
- Chop mushrooms to preferred size. Thin slices work best for me!
- Place pasta in boiling water to cook.
- In a pan, melt butter with olive oil, garlic and bouillon cube.
- Add mushrooms and sauté for 10 minutes until soft.
- Add cooking cream to mushroom and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Drain pasta and add to mushroom sauce.
- Optional: top with fresh or dried parsley and enjoy!
